* Alfred University is a member of the Common Application System for selective
colleges and universities.
Application Fee
A $40 (US) fee is charged for each application.
A check or money order, made payable to Alfred University,
must accompany the application or it cannot be processed. Visit Campus and interview with an Admissions Counselor to obtain a fee waiver.

Financial Aid Application
Early decision
Special financial aid application forms are provided to all Early Decision applicants. The deadline for a preliminary evaluation is December 15. Early Decision awards are finalized by completion and submission of the actual FAFSA after January 1, using actual income information.

Admissions Acceptance
Upon acceptance a $300.00 deposit is due:

What is Early Decision?
The Early Decision
Plan is for First Time (Freshman Students) only. Read about it and obtain an E.D. contract here. You may apply using any of the above options.
Early Decision Timeline
Early Decision Admissions Completed Application
Early decision candidates must complete their applications by December 1 . You will be notified of an admission decision by mid-December, and, if admitted, you must withdraw applications to other colleges and submit a non-refundable deposit of $300 by January 15.
Early Decision Financial Aid Application

Special financial aid application forms are provided to all Early Decision applicants. The deadline for a preliminary evaluation is December 15. Early Decision awards are finalized by completion and submission of the actual FAFSA after January 1, using actual income information.
